An Indonesian delegation of some 30 members led by Garibaldi Thohir, chairman of the China Committee of the Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Indonesia Komite China), visited Liem Sioe Liong Memorial Hall on 18 March.

The visitors took photos at the main entrance on arrival. They posed for pictures in front the seated statue Liem Sioe Liong before proceeding to the four exhibition halls with great interest. 

A well-known entrepreneur in Indonesia, Mr. Liem Sioe Liong set up and grew his business in industries mattered for people's livelihood throughout his life. The process was an integral part of Indonesia's industrialization. As the visit progressed, the visitors felt more familiar and closer with the characters and contents on display.

In front of the "Prasetiya Mulya Foundation" section, the visitors stopped for a closer look. The people in the photos on display were well-known Indonesian entrepreneurs whom they are familiar with. Seeing their photos, learning their entrepreneurial experiences and their contributions to public welfare, the visitors chatted in awe. 

Dr. Jona Widhagdo Putri, special advisor to Indonesia's Coordinating Minister of Maritime Affairs and Investment, and Didi Sumedi, director general of National Export Development of the Ministry of Trade, were participating members of the delegation. Fuzhou New District Yuanhong Functional Zone Management Committee Director Wang Xingang, Fuqing Vice Mayor Lin Chuanxuan, as well as leaders from Fuzhou Municipal Commerce Bureau and the municipal foreign affairs office accompanied the delegation throughout the visit.
