Venerable Kwang Sheng, vice president of the Singapore Buddhist Federation, rector of the Buddhist College of Singapore and superintendent of Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery, led some 30 disciples and followers to Liem Sioe Liong Memorial Hall in the morning on 19 October.
Venerable Kwang Sheng and his entourage visited the four exhibition halls. Venerable Kwang Sheng's teacher, the well-respected Venerable Hong Choon, was a close friend of Liem Sioe Liong and gave the latter the dharma name "Guangshou". During the visit, Venerable Kwang Sheng recalled the close Buddhist affinity between Venerable Hong Choon and Liem, and immeasurable contribution Liem and his family made to Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery as well as the Buddhist College of Singapore.
